A South African company has secured the sole rights to supply, service and support the full line of Sunward drill rigs and excavators to African countries

Azize Equipment unveiled the Sunward offering at a recent launch in Carolina, Mpumalanga. The Sunward Equipment Group is listed on the Shenzen stock exchange. The company manufactures more than 11 000 excavators and drilling rigs per annum.

“We are extremely excited about the birth of a 100% black owned Azize, a level one company, and our partnership with the globally renowned Sunward Equipment Group,” says Pascal Mbambo, managing director at Azize Equipment.

Numerous Sunward machines operate in Namibia, Zimbabwe and the DRC. According to Mbambo, Azize will target surface drilling companies engaged in blast hole drilling in all geological formations across the mining, quarry and construction industries.

The company offers three distinct Sunward surface drilling machines; two crawler-type Top hammer models, Down the Hole (DTH) drilling rigs and the excavator range.
