Nusrat Ghani MP, minister of state for the Department of Business & Trade and minister of state for the Investment Security Unit, United Kingdom, will be presenting the “UK’s critical minerals strategy” at the 2023 inaugural London Indaba.

The indaba on “investing in resources and mining in Africa” is taking place on 26 and 27 June 2023 at the InterContinental Park Lane London and will focus on why Africa is important to the future of mining and mining important to the future of Africa.

This event is brought to the industry by the organisers of the Joburg, known for its critical conversations – “by the industry for the industry” that get to the heart of issues – will be chaired by Bernard Swanepoel. Frank and constructive discussions amongst a line-up of over 40 speakers including government, CEOs and senior-level representatives from mining companies, investors, academia and advisory firms is to be expected.

Other highlighted speakers will include:

Scott E. Woodard, acting director, Office of Energy Transformation (ETR), Bureau of Energy Resources (ENR), U.S. Department of State on the approach of the United States government.
